Our commitment

VoxSoma is committed to making voxsoma.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe wellness tools should be usable by everyone, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility of our website and products.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. VoxSoma aims to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Current status: partially conformant — some parts of the content do not yet fully meet all AA success criteria.

Accessibility features implemented

• Semantic HTML structure with clear heading hierarchy
• Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
• ARIA labels on canvases, audio controls, and modal dialogs
• Focus-visible indicators on buttons and links
• Scalable typography using relative units
• Alt text on meaningful images
• Escape-key close on all modal dialogs

Known limitations

We are actively working to resolve the following known issues:

• Some decorative animations may cause discomfort for users with vestibular disorders — a "reduce motion" preference is on our roadmap
• Colour contrast on some gradient backgrounds is being audited against WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 for normal text)
• The live binaural audio consoles require headphones and sound — a visual-only explanation is provided in parallel

Assistive technology compatibility

VoxSoma is designed to be compatible with the latest versions of major screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack) running on modern browsers. The affirmation recording feature requires microphone access and may behave differently on each browser.
